Your application to study online is the first big step in your student journey with the New International Performing Arts Institute – and there are many reasons to start this process early:
1) More time to prepare your supporting documents
First off, it’s a good idea to give yourself enough time to make sure that all of your supporting documents meet the admissions requirements – as explained via your Recruitment Coordinator.
Start early and you’ll have more time to prepare the following:
Curriculum Vitae (CV) or resume – First, we’ll need an up-to-date CV or resume, clearly listing any academic and professional experience relevant to the online program you’ve chosen.
Diploma and Degree transcripts and certificates – If your degree is from a university, you can send a scan of the transcript showing your marks for each year, along with a color copy of your certificate.
Personal statement / statement of purpose – This should explain why you’re applying to study with us and gives an idea of your intentions. It also helps with how you think it’ll aid your personal and professional development.
2) A chance to optimize your personal statement
Your personal statement gives us an idea of your intentions and is a chance for you to demonstrate a connection to the subject area you would like to study. It is also an opportunity for you to make it personal to yourself so you can showcase what you’re looking to achieve.
If you chose to start your personal statement early, you will have time to create a truly impactful document that helps our admissions team and program directors make their decision within the expected timeframe. Not only will you have a better chance of securing a place on your chosen program, but you could get a decision in principle sooner – giving you more time to prepare.
3) More time to get ready for studying
Get it right and applying early could mean you’re accepted early too. Once you know you’re beginning your studies soon, you can start properly preparing for the months ahead.
You’ll have time to devise an online study schedule that fits around your other commitments, and to set up your working space properly, so you can hit the ground running when your online program starts and get the most from your investment.
