At this course, students will be able to explore the role of the physical training for the ensemble building process, techniques to work with actors in a playful manner, how to build up a particular atmosphere, cohesion and dynamics within the group. 

The core of this course is the investigation of the relationship in practice between the theatre director and the performers; the development of this relationship for particular results. Our teachers consistently guide students to an understanding and application of the gained knowledge in real practice.

Objectives:

• Explore the role of the physical training for performers

• Investigate different techniques for actors training

• Understanding of improvisation aspects of in the training 

• Learning exercises to create a creative environment and to foster an ensemble building process

• Learn how to lead actors through the creative process and unfold their artistic nature

Format: Each week students receive distant tasks, assignments, cases for self-studies which gradually lead them to understanding of the topic and ability to apply knowledge to the projects.
